The frequency and duration of rest breaks has been a long discussed and debated question.

Frequency and duration of breaks is not known for sure. However, based on physiological principles it is thought that frequent short breaks, instead of several long breaks, are optimal for the body and help to prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and discomfort.

When you receive a phone call it can be a built-in reminder for a break:  stand up, re-align your ears over your shoulders, and look into the distance for a reviving and quick break.
